So you're half a year...

Dear baby girl,

I just can't believe it happens so swiftly.
I don't believe those who said you'll be a toddler
in a blink of an eye, either. Obviously I'm in denial...
I'm just so proud of you.

Look at you. All the personality & character you acquire.
Wonder whether it's from me or your father...

Not a day went by without me feeling blessed and thankful
to have you as my daughter.
I keep telling your dad how an angel you are,
from the first night we spent together.
Yes you do throw tantrums at times but I guess it compensated
all the other moment you gave us pleasure being the parents.

Gazing into your loving eyes, watching them flutter,
those generous smiles and infectious gummy grin...
There were times when I wish the clock to stop ticking...
I just want to savour the moment...
not wanting you to grow even just a tiny bit more.
But I too want to see you becoming you.
Filling all the potentials and taking in everything
life has to offer...


I want you to know I've tried my best and I'll try better.
Each and everytime.
Each and everyday.
