WeightMy food aversion caused me to lose a bunch of kilos, more like back to my wedding weight tp tak la nampak kurus pon... *Ok, semua org mmg akan gemuk sikit kan awal2 kawen tu... Hehe. I'm blessed with extra fat on certain part of my body and pregnancy causes the fat tissues to expand. Tempat yg I harap gemuk tak pulak expand. Ciss.

Currently I've piled up about 10 kg from pre-preggy weight.

CheckupsI'd say go for both (private & klinik kerajaan) if it is convenient for you. Klinik Kesihatan (KK) Presint 3 is just 5 minutes walking distance from my office. Thus, I guess I shall not disregard the facility. Lagipon it is not as congested as other KK... I normally go on Wednesdays or Thursdays coz I heard Mondays & Tuesdays are quite jammed packed.

But here are the cons at KK: normally it takes 2 hours to complete the whole process, hubby tak boleh masuk during checkup, some nurses are not so experienced or nice, etc. But I like the idea of having the 'Buku Pink' to record details of our pregnancy. The clinic has a copy and so do we. So it's good for the fact that you hold your own health record. And the vitamins are FOC. Other than that, just go to private clinic together with your hubby for 2nd opinion from experienced & nicer docs, monthly ultrasound, faster service, etc.

Sapa ckp SEMUA org yang pegi check up kat KK kena minum air gula (MGTT - Meal Glucose Tolerance Test)? I read somewhere that minum air gula tu skrg compulsory for all first time moms above 25. Maybe it is true for certain places, but I did not have to go through it. I siap puasa the nite before 7th month checkup, sekali nurse cakap "Puan tak perlu, tapi puan nak ke?" Sapa nak kan... You will have to with these either 2 conditions:
1. Your parents ada history of diabetes.
2. Your weight naik mendadak during pregnancy.Alhamdulillah, my parents are healthy and my weight increases accordingly.

Stretch marks
:(I started applying Bio Oil once my tummy started growing... It was fine until 7th month kot... Pastu it started coming out like the image below. Memang nampak mcm kena cakar = scratch marks!!

The 1st bottle that I used - A bought in UK, £3 je which is equivalent to RM 15. A cakap nyesal x beli byk2 botol... Anyhow, dah gigih pakai pon tak bleh prevent them from multiplying... Sedih jugak perut buruk. Haha. Until I found this beautiful quote from Aien's blog.

Baby's genderOk, tak tau sampai sekarang. Series, tak tipu...
But I guess I like it this way...
