Kisah pakcik tua sambungan kepada kisah makcik tua...


When I read Moose's Domestic God entry, what crossed my mind was - "Ohhh, that's very impressive... He did the all the cleaning? My A may ONLY come up with a good meal on the table
(followed by extra cleaning & tidying the kitchen - on my part),
but I should be grateful nonetheless..."

If he'd ever clean (the whole house), I'd be over the moon!

The other day we had minor fall-out early in the morning and I left him for work with minimal words exchanged between us.
He was watching tv (!) - at 8 a.m... (agak2 la, xde cerita menarik pon buat2 mcm something interesting was on air...)

Later that evening I received a call from our mutual married friends who were coming over. They were already right in front of the house. And I was still at the office and had to rush home.

And I love the surprise I was about to encounter.
The house was neat & sparkling and he was busy preparing delectable nasi lemak in the kitchen.

Only later that nite he told me he took a day off
(this is the perk working on project basis - bila tak pergi site atau takde project assignment, he only has to turn up at the headquarter when needed, and boleh cuti sesuka hati...).
He cleaned, mopped and cooked sambil layan perasan dengar lagu 'I don't wanna talk about it by Rod Stewart'. Cheesy la suami saya... (I love you, syg!!)

I suspected the bathroom was cleaned as well.
I felt oh-so-loved!
And he said, "I know you're tired..."
Bet he notices my endless efforts for the spotless house.

I was over the moon. Indeed.
